Developed and delivered by a specialist Speech and Language Therapist & Educational Audiologist, our 1 day online training is designed for professionals new to working with teens with hearing loss or in need of a refresher.
This training will ensure that you:
- Understand what makes the age of adolescence a neurologically unique time of development that affects learning and socialising.
- Understand the impact of this time on mental health, executive functions and behaviour, especially for children with hearing loss.
- Feel confident using a range of strategies to help teens manage stress, improve emotional literacy and recognise their own strengths and challenges.
- Leave with ideas, tools and resources that can be used in group or 1-1 sessions with teens.
