It was  a full day of positive experiences, meeting people from across the local deaf community, and chatting to visitors about the support and services Hear Together offers. What really stood out was the diversity within the deaf community itself. There were BSL users, deafened people, hard of hearing people, hearing aid users, cochlear implant users, people using captioning and assistive technology, and people who rely on lipreading. It felt inclusive in terms of the people attending, and there were so many valuable conversations throughout the day.

We were able to recommend Hear Together to lots of people who stopped by our stand, and it was encouraging to see how many people were interested in support, technology, social connection, and accessibility.
