The sun was out, the snacks were enjoyed and the smiles were everywhere. This was probably one of our most chilled family sessions to date as we gently cruised along the waterways. Everyone (and I mean EVERYONE!) had a go at steering the boat, we all chipped in to help with opening and closing the locks and some of us were even brave enough to walk across the lock gates. Everyone had loads of fun (and sun!) and rumour has it that some families were even inspired to looking in to canal boat holidays!
